We've always had dark family room. The wall has brown panels with dark brown beams on the ceiling. The curtain is also dark brown and green color. I thought may be we should put some lights on the ceiling. But did not know how.
Luckily Catherine's brother Christ knew how to install the new ceiling lights. So I talked to him about it and yesterday graciously he calle me and offered to work with me. So there. He came over yesterday which was Saturday. We went to Home Depot and bought the things that were needed to install the lights. It cost barely more than 300 dollars. Not really bad at all. We planned to put eight ceiling lights.
Then I finally made the first hole for the light.
Christ continued to work in the attic to put the juction box and redid insulation on each light he installed. This is before and after.
Fantastic Chris.
I worked in the family room to make holes for him and he worked in the attic. I know I know. He did the real work.
Now.
I did something important here.
We had to put the wire through the pipe to connect the wire from juction box to the outlet and the switch.
So we used the fish tape to put the wire through. Guess who did this???
Yeh...Kenny.
I should have taken a picture of me doing that. Bummer I can't prove it.
Anyways...
This is final look.
And this is how we both looked when we were working crazy hours on most beautiful Saturday. hahaha...but it was so worth doing it.
Thanks Chris.
