우리나라에 서태지와 아이들이 활동을 시작한 1992년
그보다 몇해전에 미국에도 아이들(소년들?) 그룹이 있었다.
바로 1987년 데뷔한 Heavy D & The Boyz
-한국어로 궂이 번역하자면 무거운 D와 아이들 되겠다
그 헤비디가 1991년 발매한『Peaceful Journey』에
수록된 'Now That We Found Love'
우리나라에선 이곡을 리메이크한 은지원 2집 'Now'(2002)로
많이 알려졌고
2005년 국내개봉한 미국영화 '미스터히치'에 수록된 곡으로
또한번 알려졌다.
그이후 우리나라 버라이어티프로그램에 댄스장면에 자주
등장(아마도 천명훈이나 신정환의 댄스타임에 ㅋㅋ)하기도
했던곡이다.
그만큼 오래된 곡이지만 언제들어도 신나고 댄스곡으론 아주
훌륭한 곡이라 할 수 있겠다^^
-갠적으로 1991년쯤 헤비디의 이앨범을 테잎으로 구매했었다.
사실 이곡 말고는 귀에 들어오는곡은 없었던걸로 기억한다.
하지만 당대 미국의 최고 렙퍼로 통하던 헤비디..
