결코 마음을 다 주지 말라.

열정적인 여성들에게 사랑은,

사랑이 확실해 보일 때면,

생각할 가치도 없는 것으로 여겨지고,

그것은 입맞춤에서 입맞춤으로 전전하다가

결국 시들게 마련임을 그들은 꿈엔들 알지 못하지.

사랑스런 건 모두가

한순간의 꿈결같고 정감어린 즐거움일 뿐.

아, 결코 마음을 송두리째 주지 말라.

여성들은, 부드러운 입술이 언명한

그 모든 사랑의 언약에 아량곳 않고.

모두가 자신들의 사랑을 연출하지.

게다가 사랑으로 눈멀고 귀먹고

말문마저 막혀 버린다면

어느 누가 사랑의 연기인들 제대로 할 수 있으랴?

이 지경까지 이르게 한자

사랑의 댓가를 너무도 잘알고 있나니.

그는 마음을 다 쏟아 붓고도 사랑을 잃었네.
