NCBA President Returns from Korea: GROSETA
In this National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) audio clip, NCBA President Andy Groseta (pronounced GROW-SETT-UH) reflects on his trip earlier this week to South Korea. Groseta, a rancher from Cottonwood, Arizona, was selected as part of the official delegation representing the United States at the inauguration of Korea's new president, Le Myung-bak (pronounced LEE MING BOCK).

Groseta expects South Korea to resume import!!s of U.S. beef fairly soon, but urges patience with Korea's political process.

Groseta expressed confidence in the relationship the United States can expect to have with the new administration in South Korea.

He is also confident that once trade is resumed, Korean consumers will respond in a big way.

He wants to make sure that he get some of his people who have the same views what he has in National assembly, so they can open up trade. 굉장히 긍정적이다.한국의 이 대통령은 FTA를 지지하고 다시 소고기를 들여오는것에도 지지한다. 그러나 그들은 4월 9일에 총선이 있으니 이명박은 자기와 같은 생각을 하는 사람들을 국회에 좀더 모아서 다시 협상을 재개할수 있도록 확실하게 하겠다고 했다. 한국인의 60% 미국 소고기 수입 원한다. 이마트 가서 누구누구도 만났다. 전망 무지 밝다. 즉 총선 승리 후 쇠고기 협상을 재기할 것이라 약속을 했네요. 이번 고시 연기도 검역단을 핑계로 10일을 연기했지만, 그 때가 되면 17대 국회가 끝나고, 18대 국회는 한나라당이 과반수가 되니까 머리수로 밀어 붙이겠다는 거네요. 그리고 지금 친박연대의 복당을 서두르는 이유도 여기에 있었군요. 박근혜는 복당의 대가로 쇠고기 협상과 FTA비준에 무조건 동의를 할테구요.
