Josh Groban의 "You Raise Me Up" 이라는 이 노래의 원곡은 2002년 발매된 "Secret Garden"의 4집 앨범인 "Once In A Red Moon"에 수록된 "You Raise Me Up"의 리메이크 버젼이다.
이 곡은 Josh Groban외에도 Westlife, Celtic Woman등이 리메이크해 불렀고, Kenny G의 섹스폰 연주로도 유명하다.
한국에서는 CCM가수로 알려진 장윤영씨의 2006년 7월, 2집 앨범 "Song Of Hope"에서 "You Raise Me Up(나의 영혼 연약하여 지치고)"라는 곡으로 번역되어 불리기도 했다.

2006년 월드컵 시즌에 KTF는 이동국을 주인공으로 CF를 제작해 방영하기도 했는데 그 CF의 배경음악이 바로 이 노래(Westlife 버젼)이다.
또 얼마전에 개봉된 "1번가의 기적"이라는 영화에서도 이 노래(Celtic Woman버젼)가 삽입되었는데 상당한 반향을 일으키고 있는 것 같다.
