마태복음 13장 38절- 43절

밭은 세상이요 . 좋은 씨는 천국의 아들들이요.

가라지는 악한 자의 아들들이요.

He answered, The one who sowed

the good seed is the Son of Man.

가라지를 심은 원수는 마귀요. 추수 때는 세상 끝이요.

추숫군은 천사들이니

and the enemy who sows them is the devil.

The harvest is the end of the age,

and the harvesters are angels.

그런즉 가라지를 거두어 불에 사르는 것 같이

세상 끝에도 그러하리라.

As the weeds are pulled up and burned in

the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

인자가 그 천사들을 보내리니

저희가 그 나라에서 모든 넘어지게 하는것과

또 불법을 행하는 자들을 거두어 내어

The Son of Man will send out his angels,

and they will weed out of his king dom

everything that causes sin and all who do evil.

풀무불에 던져 넣으리니 거기서 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라.

They will throw them into the fiery furnace,

where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

그 때에 의인들은 자기 아버지 나라에서

해와 같이 빛나리라. 귀 있는 자는 들으라 .

Then the righteous will shine like the sun

in the kingdom of their Father.

He who has ears, let him hear.

가라지 비유

지상의 가시적 교회에는 참 성도(알곡)

거짓 성도(가라지)가 공존하고 있으나 종말의

심판에 가서는 양자가 확연히 구별될 것이므로

오늘을 살아가는 성도들이 가라지의 존재로

인해 낙심치 말 것을 가르치는 비유 -

비유 대상으로 삼은 가라지는 위장성. 잠복성 .

해독성을 그 특성으로 한다.

천국 복음의 메시지를 접하는 자의 마음 상태에 따라

결과에 있어 엄청난 차이를 가져 온다는 가르침이다.
