Lord,
make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred,
let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving
that we receive;
it is in pardoning
that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying
that we are born to eternal life

나를 평화의 도구로 써주소서.
미움이 있는 곳에 사랑을,
절망이 있는 곳에 용서를,
분열이 있는 곳에 일치를,의혹이 있는 곳에 신앙을,
그릇됨이 있는 곳에 진리를,
절망이 있는 곳에 희망을,
어두움에 빛을,
슬픔이 있는 곳에 기쁨을 심는 사람이 되게 하소서.

위로받기 보다는 위로하고,
이해받기보다는 이해하며,
사랑받기보다는 사랑하게 하여 주소서.
우리는 줌으로써 받고,
용서함으로써 용서받으며,
자기를 버리고 죽음으로써 영생을 얻기 때문입니다.
