많은 영화에서 사용이 되었지만

대표적으로 스탠리 큐브릭 감독의 'Full metal jacket'과 

TV시리즈 '머나먼 정글'에 사용되었던 음악.

이중적이고 가면을 쓴 추악스런 세상을 향해 던지는 외침.

그 원래 색깔이야 어떻든

결국은 검은 모습을 가진 부조리한 세상에 대해

그들은 차라리 그냥 모든것을 검은색으로 칠해버리자고 한다.

'팀 버튼'의 영화 '배트맨'의 가면무도회 장면에서

'굳이 가면을 쓸 필요가 없다. 우린 모두 평소 가면을 쓰고 살고 있으니.'라는 명대사와도 일맥상통한다.

빨간 문이 보여
그 문을 검게 칠해 버리고 싶어

지나가는 소녀들이 보여
어둠이 지나갈 때 까지

한 줄로 늘어선 차들이 보여
그 차들은 모두 검은 색이야
꽃과 나의 사랑을 보냈지만
돌아오지 못할 운명에 처했어

고개를 돌리고 황급히
외면하는 사람들이 보여
태어나는 아이들처럼
일상적으로 일어나는 일인 걸
