Jane : What do you mean? What happened?

Ellen : I was to bring a major proposal that I worte to a client

meeting this afternoon.

엘런 : 오늘 오후에 고객과의 만남 시간에 내가 쓴 중요한 제안서를 가져가기로

돼있었거든.

Jane : And your boss didn't like it?

제인 : 그런데 윗사람이 맘에 안 들어 한 거야?

Ellen : Worse than tnat! He didn't even see it.

엘런 : 그러면 낫게! 아예 보질 않았어.

Jane : You lost me.

제인 : 무슨 말인지 모르겠어.

Ellen : I had to take the bus because my car is in the shop.

엘런 : 차를 정비소에 맡겨서 버스를 타야 했거든.

Jane : Oh, no. Wrer you late to work?

제인 : 아니, 저런. 회사에 늦었단 말이야?

Ellen : I wish. I left the proposal on the bus, so the client went

with our competition.

엘렌 : 그랬으면 다행이게. 제안서를 버스에 놓고 내려서 고객들이

경쟁회사를 선택했어.

Jane : That's terrible! My company is hiring if you're interested.

제인 : 끔찍하다! 우리 회사에서 사람 뽑는데 너 관심 있어.
