As all of you may know, the whole fandom is right now in a major panic because of the issues with Kris and his files for termination of his contract with SM Entertainment.

Many of you think that SM Entertainment ordered the members to unfollow Kris on instagram and weibo, AND that SM Entertainment is trying to make Kris look bad for this.

But the question is, does Kris really want to leave EXO? Does he really want to leave SM Entertainment?

Kris has done many things that have affected EXO in an extremely bad way last year. Many fans of EXO-K and EXO-M in Korea and China (probably) are already familiar with most of these.



After the New Years in 2013, Kris flied to Beijing, China for holidays. But he never came back until March~April. Now, all of you should know that the New Years is in JANUARY. Because of him not making a fast comeback to Korea, the planning for EXO comeback as EXO-K and EXO-M was pretty much ruined and got canceled. So the fans had to wait for another few months until WOLF came out with ot12. The proof for this?

If you guys watch the mv (drama ver.) of WOLF, Kris does not have that many parts compared to other members. That's because Kris wasn't back from China yet, when other members were already filming the mv. If you look at the polaroid pics of EXO that were taken on the day of filming the mv, you can see that only Kris' polaroids don't include him at the drama version set.

Birthday Parties
Now, if you look at the photos of EXO members' birthday parties (130111 - D.O & KAI, 121007 - LAY, 120920 - CHEN, 121126 - CHANYEOL) you can notice that EXO has always celebrated birthday parties as EXO-K and EXO-M. (So let's say it was Chanyeol's birthday in like 2012, then only the members of EXO-K would be at the party) But in 2013, when Xiumin's birthday was coming up, Kris was not back from China yet. So the fans were worried about what SM Entertainment was going to do with Xiumin's birthday party.
Kris never came back, and what SM did was to combine some members from EXO-K and EXO-M to be at the birthday party.
Kris finally came back and Sehun's birthday was coming up. SM couldn't change the pattern anymore, therefore they just told Kris to join Sehun's birthday party.. so that fans wouldn't be confused. (You can check the photo of all the birthday parties since debut for proof)

Kris disappears, AGAIN.
Okay now this is where things get serious now. Kris flied over to Canada for Chuseok (Korean holiday) and all the members had one day to visit their family and come back for work. Well, Kris never came back for a week because of the problems with his "visa" (according to him). But you know, it was last year after WOLF and people started to recognize Kris, so people took photos and videos of him hanging out with friends at Kareoke, and game centers, which got released after all, unfortunately (for Kris).
When Kris was having fun in Canada for a week, all the other members were in Korea doing their work, such as fan signing event, performances, etc.



We understand that Kris could have been suffering from hard times being a member of an idol group. But seriously? It has not been that long since EXO-K and EXO-M have made a comeback with OVERDOSE.
On May 23rd, EXO is having their first concert in Korea. Which is about a week away from today in South Korean time. Tao said this on his instagram post also, but now the other 11 members have to practice ALL OVER AGAIN because a member won't be at the concert. I repeat, they only have a week left. It's not that easy to move a big concert like this, either.

Yes, we all know that SM Entertainment is famous for being harsh on their artists but Kris should have realized that by now. He had vanished himself twice last year and now he is trying to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment and leave EXO.

Obviously, the other members of EXO feel that they have been betrayed. Some of the members have unfollowed Kris on instagram and weibo already. Tao says, "Why do people always believe what the bad side is saying? The person basically betrayed us and is giving us a hard time, now." (From his latest instagram post / in Chinese)
Suho also says that this is completely Kris' fault for not telling the members and the company about this whole situation. He should have not done such thing behind our back, and we feel betrayed. What he should be doing right now is to apologize to other members of EXO and SM Entertainment. (From an interview on May 15th)



We hope that everyone will understand the truth and reality. We do hope for Kris' best, but we cannot understand his behavior of trying to leave the group and suing the company without letting anyone know.
