카이사태에 대한 외퀴의 입장

just a quick question! do you think he might have changed by now and is more aware of his derogatory statements because he's older and much less ignorant on the issue of racism? how do people redeem themselves if they're "judged" by their past mistakes? because it seems like one statement from his past is being used to state who he is now and i personally don't find it very fair unless he is still as blantantly racist as he was before

Of course I’m hoping that he’s changed, but do I know that for sure? No.  I’ts not to hear about things like this, since korean idols tend to know little to nothing about the history of america. They base all their knowledge of black people/african americans on rap music, which isn’t all that realistic.  

I didn’t judge him, all I said was I was disappointed, which is a valid feeling to have if your ultimate fave said something highly offensive.

I’m not even mad at him, just disappointed at his words.
