반항적인 이미지로 어필한 영국의 록밴드 롤링스톤즈의 신나는 곡이다.

롤링스톤즈는 당시에 한창 인기를 끌고 있던 비틀즈의 단정한 이미지와는

반대로 격렬한 무대 매너와 불량스러워보이는 복장으로 죽음, 자살, 마약을

연상시키는 어두운 분위기의 곡들을 연주했다.

 

동년배의 다른 밴드들이 멤버의 죽음이나 불화로 일찌감치 해체한

것에 비해 아직도 활동하고 있어 '록계의 공룡'으로 불리고 있다.
