"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding itmes the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her walet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.

"So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked.
"No." She replied. "but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally."

정서가 달라서 그런지 배꼽빠지게 웃긴건 아니지만 머..걍 웃을만 한 이야기인거 같아서...

"현금으로 계산하실래요, 수표로 하실래요?", 그 여자손님이 산 물건들을 담으며 내가 물었다. 그녀가 지갑을 꺼내려고 가방을 열었을때, 그녀의 가방안에 텔레비젼 리모콘세트가 있는걸 보았다.

"그런데, 늘 그렇게 리모콘을 휴대하고 다니시나봐요?" 내가 물었다.

"그건 아닌데요." 그녀가 대답했다. "제 남편이 같이 쇼핑오기를 거절해서 제가 생각해낸 가장 합법적인 나쁜짓인것 같아서요."
