If it hadn’t been an offside ‘cause the ball hit the Korean player’s foot, it would have been a misjudgment of the sub-umpire. But if it had been an offside, it obviously would have been a misjudgment of the chief umpire. 1. If it had not been an offside, the sub-umpire wouldn’t have lifted up the flag, and the game would’ve kept going. However, at the time of this issue, the sub-umpire stood on the ground, where can look the situation most closely. 2. If it had been an offside, the chief judge must have stopped the game. 3. If the sub-referee had made a wrong decision, they should have stopped the game as well to clarify the situation. The sub-umpire was raising the flag on the other hand; the chief umpire was not admitting the situation. Making decision without having discussion with sub-referees was certainly the most imperious manner of chief umpire, considering fair play is the spirit of all kinds of sport. It wasn't fair at all. Otherwise, I personally think that there must have been a hidden agenda.
