Larry: But it's true. There was an accident on the freeway.

Neil: What about yesterday and the day before?

Larry: Please don't lose your temper. I can explain.

Larry: I'm usually here on time but the last few days have been unusual.

Neil: Well the next time you're late you're fired!

Larry: I promise I'll be here early every day.
