He wishes for the cloths of Heaven

Had I the heaven's emboroidered cloths.

하늘의 천이 있다면
Enwrough with golden and silver light

어둠과 빛과 어스름으로 수놓은
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths

파랗고 희뿌옇고 검은천이 있다면
of night and light and the half-light.

그 천을 그대 발 밑에 깔아드리련만
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

나는 가난하여 가진 것이 꿈뿐이라
But I  being poor have only my dreams:\

내 꿈을 그대 발 밑에 깔았습니다.
I have spread my dreams under your feet.

사뿐히 밟으소서, 그대 밟는 것 내 꿈이오니.
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
