=> Can I get a ride home?, Can I get a lift home?, and Can you drive me home?

      위의 세가지 모두 "나 집까지 차로 태워다 줄 수 있어? 라는 뜻을 가지고 있다...

Ex) A: Hey, Linda, my friend was supposed to give me a ride home, but he's 

              drunk now...so I was wondering if you could drive me home instead.

       B:  Sure, no problem at all! Hop in!

       A:  Thanks a lot, Lina.  I owe you one.

Vocab: Hop In=차에 타다  Owe (someone) (something)=빚지다(여기선 "나중에 꼭 보답할께~" 정도로 해석하면 되겠다)

Lesson 4

=> It's on me, I'll cover for you(=let me cover for you), I got it, and I'm buying

      위의 네가지 모두 "내가 낼께/살께"라는 뜻을 가지고 있다...

Ex) A: Hey, Phil, Burgers on me today~

        B: Common, JD, let me cover for you this time~I really insist...

        A: Well, Phil, if you say so(=그럼 그렇게 해)/=(if you insist)...But you (are)

              gonna have to let me buy next time, though...All right?

        B: Got it...
