그러나 아무도 감히 침묵의 소리를 깨지는 못했어
“바보들.” 내가 말했지. “당신들은 몰라
침묵은 암처럼 자라난다는 걸.
내가 가르쳐 줄테니 내 말들 들어 봐.
내가 두 팔을 뻗을테니 그걸 잡아 봐.“
그러나 내 말은 소리 없는 빗방울처럼 떨어져
침묵의 우물속에서 메아리쳤어
그러자 사람들이 절을 하며 빌었어
자신들이 만든 네온 신을 향해...
그러자 홀연 계시가 나타나 경고했고
그 계시가 글씨들 모양으로 변했어
그 계시내용은 이랬지.
“예언자들 말씀이 지하철 벽과 건물들 홀에 써 있노라.“
그렇게 침묵의 소리로 속삭였지...
환상의 화음....
