*어느날 그와 친구들은 남부의 클럽밖에서 자신들의 프로모션을 하다가 휴스턴의 DJ "Michael 5000 Watts"를 우연히 만나게 되었고, 즉석에서 "Michael 5000 Watts"의 회사를 위해 프로모션을 하고 싶다는 제안을 하자 "Michael 5000 Watts"는 자신의 스튜디오로 한번 와보라고 했다.

*이를 계기로 휴스턴의 FM 라디오 방송 "Houston’s 97.9 The Box"에서, 이들이 거리에서 녹음한 프리스타일 랩 믹스테이프가 방송되게 되었다.

*최초 이들의 그룹 이름은 "Swishahouse"였는데, 멤버가 13명이나 되었고 본격적인 음악 활동을 하면서 음악적 견해차이와 돈의 배분 문제 등으로 그룹은 와해되어 쪼개지면서 해체했다.

*그와 "Paul Wall"등 5명의 멤버로 새로 결합하여 "The Color Changin' Click"이라는 그룹을 결성했다.

*이들은 2002년 독립음반으로 데뷔 앨범 [Get Ya Mind Correct]를 발표하여 10만장의 판매고를 올렸고, 이 앨범은 "The Source"라는 잡지사가 선정한 "올해의 인디 앨범"으로 선정되었다.

*이후, 휴스턴 출신 래퍼 "Lil Flip"의 앨범 [Undaground Legend]에서 "U See It"이라는 노래에 피처링으로 참여했는데, 이 앨범은 "소니(Sony)"로부터 플래티넘 인증을 받았다.

*2집 앨범이 발매될 무렵 그와 "Paul Wall"은 갈등이 형성되었고, 결국 이 둘은 각자 솔로의 길을 걷게 된다.
