광복절기념 전세계최대블로그 페이스북에 대한민국을 PR하고 왔습니다 !

광복 제65주년을 맞이하여 Smith쿤은 Facebook 에 한국을 홍보하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

2009년 SBS에서 광복절특집 으로 마련한 PR코리아 라는 프로그램에서 보았던 바와같이 전세계인 들에 잘못된 한국에 대한 정보와, 오해들로인해 전세계인들의 인식에, 충격을 받은 후 몇일전 부터 한국을 제대로

PR 하자는 뜻에서 제 FACEBOOK 에 PR KOREA 라는 공간을 만든 후, 5~7일 간격으로 3가지씩 음식, 도시, 서울, 유명인들을 차례대로 소개해 나갈 계획입니다.

한글, 독도 홍보는 반드시 지켜질거고, 독도는 계속 PR하고 있습니다.

또 어제 전문인데요. 당연히 영어로 썼지만, 여기선 번역해드릴게요.

정중히 인사를 드린후, 독립기념일을 기념하여 왜곡된 한국의 정보와 잘못 전달된 한국의 인식을 바꿔드린다는 글로 시작을 했습니다.

1. 한국은 세계경제 11위의 경제대국 입니다.

2. 한국은 아름다운 문자인 한글을 가졌고, 우리는 한국어를 말하고있구요,

UNESCO 에서는 한국어를 가장 아름다운 언어로 인정하고 있습니다.

3. 핸드폰, 반도체, 선박, 철강, LCD 산업은 한국이 세계1위 입니다.

4. UN사무총장 반기문은 한국인 입니다.

5. 제5회 2010 G20 세계정상회의 가 한국에서 열립니다.

6. 1988 Seoul Olympics 과 2002 World Cup 은 성공적으로 한국에서 개최 되었습니다.

게다가 2011 세계육상대회가 대구에서 열릴것이고, 한국은 2018 동계올림픽이 평창 에서 열리길 기대하고 있습니다.

7. 한국은 연예사업뿐만 아니라 스포츠강국으로서 세계최고 입니다.

8. 한국의 인터넷속도는 세계최고 입니다, 그 어떤 나라도 한국을 압도할수 없지요.

당신이 언제한번 한국에 왔을때 꼭 체험해보길 바랍니다. 장담하지만 당신은 그것에 깜짝놀라게 될것입니다.

9. 한국의 GDP(국내총생산)은 세계10위 이며, GNP(개인총생산)은 2만6천달러 입니다.

한국은 경제적 으로서, 개인당 생활수준은 풍요로운 수준 입니다.

10. 한국은 5000년의 역사를 자랑합니다 또한 UNESCO 에 기록된 유물 역시 많은 편 입니다.

11. 한국의 지하철과, 공항시설은 세계최고 입니다.

12. 120만명의 외국인 들은 한국에서 살고있습니다.

그들은 영원히 한국에서 살고싶어 합니다.

한국의 개고기 문화에 대한 전세계인들의 인식을 바꿔보는 시간, 한국의 인기음식과 보편적인 음식들 을 한식으로 소개한후 김치는 한국의 대표음식으로 세계에 수출하고 있고, 외국인들이 한식을 좋아한다는 공감대형성 으로 글을 이어갔습니다.

또 독도가 왜 한국땅인지 일목요연하게 설명하고, 그래서 일본해가 아니라 왜 동해 인지를 알려주는 시간이었던것 같구요.

또 한국의 방문을 유도하는 글도 남겼고, 한국에 오면 스케쥴을 내게 말해주면 호텔리어의 아는 사람으로 부터 싼값으로 호텔에 머물게 해주겠다는 약속과, 한식으로 저녁을 대접하겠다는 약속 역시 잊지않았습니다.

반응은 지금까지 괜찮습니다.

다행이죠. 원어민을 제외한 전 세계인들이 영어를 할줄알고 또 제 글을 이해해 주어서 다행이라고 생각합니다. 작년에 개그맨 김영철 씨가 영국으로 날아가 영국, 초중고 교과서에 한국에 대한 잘못된 정보와 인식을 바꿔주는데, 일조했다는 기사와, 정말 한국인들의 수많은 감사한다는 반응들을 보고, 역시 영어는 이럴때 써야한다는 생각을 가졌었구요.

저 역시 영어로서 한국을 알리고있고, 또 아직 시작이기 때문에 대한민국을 좀 더

다른인식으로서 세계인들이 일본, 중국 못지않은 인식으로 한국을 기억해주고

사랑해주길 기대하면서 계속 한국을 PR 해나갈 생각입니다. 또 한국을 홍보함 으로서 세계인들에게 한국을 알렸다는 사실이 기쁠따름이고, 내년에는 옵션으로

프랑스어와, 중국어, 스페인어 로도 더 많은 사람들에게 한국을 PR 해 나갈 생각입니다.

좀 더 빨리 기획 했어야 하는 아쉬움이 남지만, 지금까지 반응에 만족감을 드러냅니다.

모두 여러분들이 있었기에 생각해낸 아이디어 였고, 하나된 애국심으로 가능한

일이었습니다.

2. South Korea have a beautiful Hangul characters and "We Speak KOREAN."
UNESCO has recognized as a Korean beautiful language.

3. Cell phones, Semiconductors, Shipbuilding, The Steel, LCD industry is the world's No.1-

4. UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon who is A South Korean.

5. 2010 the 5th G20(Group of Twenty Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors) is

holiding in South KOREA.

6. 1988 Seoul Olympics and 2002 World Cup has been held successfully.
In addition, the 2011 World Championships in Athletics competition will be held in Daegu,

Korea.
And South Korea are looking forward to held the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang,

Korea.

7. South Korea is a sports powerhouse as well as the entertainment business is world best.

8. Korea's Internet speed is the world best. No One country can chatch up that of korea's.
when you came to korea oneday, try use our internet. I Bet you Absolutely Suprise about that.

9. Korea's GDP(Gross Domestic Product) is the world's top 10, GNP(Gross National Product) is the $ 26,000.
South Korea's economy and people's living standards are very affluent.

10. Korea is a country with a history of 5000 years, and We have a lot of relics recorded At UNESCO.

12. Foreigners are living in Korea, there are 1.2 million people. They Want to live in korea Forever.

And, You're the one thing is wrong idea about Korean Food.
IT's Dog Meat.. Yeah, I need to say about it.
"NOT all Koreans eat dog meat."
the 5-8% of the Korean eat dog meat, but the 92-95% of the others are not eaten dog meat.
Actually I don't eat Dog meat and As a dog lover, I don’t think it’s right to eat them.
Eating dog meat is part of Korean history. It is a small number of Korean culture.
So I HOPE You should respect our culture. Although I’m still not going to eat dog meat,

it’s a cultural difference.
Dog Meat is not common food in South Korea.

-"all korean eat dog meat - "PLEASE DO NOT THINK LIKE THAT"

Korea's traditional food is so delicious, tasty formed.

KIMCH, JABCHAE, GALBI(RIBS), SAMGYEOPSAL(PORK), BULGOGI, PAJEONS(WELSH ONION-PANCAKES), JJIGAES(STEWS) -KIMCH, DOENJANG(BEAM PASTE), SOONDUBU(SOFT TOFU)
AND ALCHOLS (SOJU, MAKGOLI). They are korean traditional and common in foods in korea. it named (HANSIK - Korean foods)
Actually Many Of Foreigners love to eat them as Hansik. Especially they love to eat Samgyeopsal and soju.
Kimch is korean the best food and it export the worldwide. (KimCh is NOT Kimuch) kimuch is japanese one.
kimch is mucu better for health than that.

Do you know about DOKDO ?

I have been saying that "Dokdo belongs to Korea" in facebook. Yes!! it is !!
some people know about dokdo that dakesima which is japanese name, but Takeshima is

not exist in this world.
ONLY Named DokDo existing of Korea Territory.
But Japan claims their own land in Japan the island. They insist on unconditional

that is japan's own. How stupid they are?
But WE can say that Dokdo is Korea's Territory in the record, historically, international of the law.
International Law of the Sea and the territory of Korea as Dokdo is recorded.
Geographically Dokdo is close to Korea, even in Japanese old map of Dokdo listed as a territory of Korea.
Actually some Korean live in Dokdo, Besides South Korean can use mobile phones

in Dokdo. but Japan CAN'T !!!
because of Dokdo is South Korea the territory, So we Can Say "the EAST SEA" !!

IT IS NOT SEA OF JAPAN !!
if you say that sea of japan and Dakesima, you are really stupid. Okay?

sea of japan and dakesima, tsushima Strait ARE NOT IN THIS WORLD. It is only DOKDO

AND THE EAST SEA, THE KOREA STRAIT.

I know someone who work in Hotel and I really am close to him. the Hotel Located

in YeoUido, SEOUL.

"Yeouido's Cherry Blossom Festival in April is really beautiful."
