[Cross Over 遭遇] 전시는 폭넓고 다양한 유럽 문화가 존재하고 있는 오스트리아와 현재 세계의 뜨거운 관심을 받고 있는 중국과 함께 현대미술을 통한 예술소통과 문화교류를
실천해 나가고자 하는 의도에서 기획된 전시입니다.
현대미술은 오늘날 언어와 문화의 차이를 넘어 유용한 국제 소통 수단으로 가능하므로 현재의 문화예술의 횡단면을 대조할 수 있는 기회가 될 것입니다.
뿐만 아니라 한국미술의 다양성과 독창성을 유럽과 중국에 알릴 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것이며 더불어 이번 전시에 참가하는 한국, 중국, 오스트리아의 현대미술가들은 예술교류를
통하여 국적을 떠나 서로의 예술세계 속에서 다문화적 예술실천과 네트워크로써 새로운 예술모색을 시도해 나갈 것임을 확신합니다.
This Exhibition [Cross Over 遭遇] is a project which intends to connect the communication of contemporary art between Austria and China, where one of the widest
-spread cultural spectrum of the World exists and the Korean into practice.
On the other hand I’m sure the Exhibition will be a good chance to introduce to show the capability of the diversity and the creativity of Austrian, Chiness and Korean arts.
The artists from every participating country will try to connect the multicultural art practice and is willing to create a network across each country.
