일본인들한테 독도가 우리 땅이라는걸 확실히 알려주기 위해,

우리들도 잘 알고있어야하지 않겠어요?

독도(Dokdo)

우리 눈으로만 볼 수있는 우리 땅 독도

대한민국 경상북도 울릉군 울릉읍 1~96번지, 동경 131도 북위 37도에 자리잡은 독도는 해발 98m의 동도, 해발 168m의 서도라는 두개의 주된 섬과, 가제바위, 지네바위, 미륵바위 등 생김새에 따라 이름이 붙여진 89개의 암초로 이루어져 있습니다.

울릉도 동남쪽 87.4km 지점에 위치한 독도는 기상이 맑은 날이면 울릉도에서 육안으로도 독도전체를 관찰할 수 있을 정도로 가까운 곳에 있습니다.

반면 일본의 경우에는 독도와 가장 가까운 거리에 위치한 시마네현 오키섬에서도 독도가 북서쪽으로도 157.5km나 떨어져있어 시야가 아무리 맑다 하더라도 표면이 둥근 지구의 속성 때문에 독도를 보는 것이 근본적으로 불가능 합니다.

독도가 울릉도의 친구 섬이자 우리의 영토임을 독도 스스로가 보여주고 있는 셈입니다.

Dokdo can be only seen from Koean territory.

Dokdo,Ulleng-eup, Ulleung Contry, Gyeongsang-bukdo, South Korea.

Located in the of east longitude and 37degrees of north latitude, Dokdo consists of two main island and 89 reefs, each named after their shapes and sizes.

Two islands are the east island, rising 98meters above the sea level and te west island, rising 169 meters above sea level.

Dokdo is located southeast of Ulleung Island, 87.4km apart.

It is such a close distance that people in Ulleung Island are able to see the entire Dokdo Island with the naked eye.

On the other hand, the closet Japanese is land from Dokdo is Oki Island of Shimane Prefecture.

It is 157.5km away from Dokdo; due to is far distance, it is impossible to see Dokdo with is clear. This proves that Dokdo is a friend of Ulleung island and that Dokdo is Korean land.

독도는 작은섬이 아닙니다

보는 각도와햇빛이 비추는 방향에 따라 완전히 다른모습을 보여주는 독도는 동해의 생성과도 관련된 아주 오래된 섬입니다. 독도는 단순한 외관상 수치로 설명할 수 있는 섬이 아니라 2천여미터가 넘는 거대한 해저산의 꼭대기 부분입니다.

독도 주변 바다는 유난히 깊고 검푸른 색깔을 띠는데, 이는 독도가 화산폭발로 순식간에 치솟았기 때문입니다.

해저산이 수면 위로 드러나는 경우는 아주 드문 일이여서,독도는 해저산의 진화과정을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 세계적인 지질유적이자 다양한 암석학의 보고입니다.

더욱 중요한 것은 독도 주변 바다 깊은 곳에는 하이드레이트 라는 품질 좋은 천연 가스가 다량 매장되어 있을 것으로추정되고 있다는 것입니다.

향후 기술이 발전하고 탐사에 성공할 경우 독도의 해양자원은우리나라의 귀중한 경제적 자산이 될 것입니다.

이같은 독도의 경제적 가치 때문에 일본은 독도를 집요하게 노리고 있는 것입니다.

Dokdo is not just a small island.

Dokdo is only an island that accounts for externally numerical values, but also the summit of an enormos seamount over two-thousannd meters.

Seawaters surrounding Dokdo have deep dark blue colors, because Dokdo rose suddenly due to the volcanic eruption.

Since instances when a samout is exposed to the waters surface are rare, Dokdo is one of the world's geolgcal remains where evolution process of a seamount is shown.

It is also a rich repository of petrology.

More importanly, it is assumed that hydrate, a natural gasof good quality, is plentifully buried deep in the sea area around Dokdo.

If the technology develops and we succeed in its exploration, oceanic resourcs of Dokdo will be a valuable economic property for Korea.

These economic prices of Dokdo account for Japan's importunate demand for Dokdo.
