홍콩에 도착해서 나탈리아가 알려준 대로 Central의 HSBC 빌딩으로 갔더니...
정말...시위하는 사람들이 살고 있는 텐트들이 있었다....헐...
거기 있는 사람들 중 한 명에게 카우치서핑에서 왔다니까
아무런 확인도 안 하고 텐트를 내어준다.ㅎㅎ
간단한 인사를 나누고 몇 명과 함께 점심을 먹으러 갔다.
after arrived in Hong Kong, I went to HSBC, near Central station, as Natalija had informed me..
There were really tents where demonstrating people stay....
I said to one of them that I came by couchsurfing.
they gave me one tent soon...
then we went to lunch together.
점심을 먹은 후에는 근처 공원을 산책했다.
after lunch, we walked around the park nearby.
3명은 시위를 하고 있는 홍콩 사람이고 백인은 호주에서 온 카우치서퍼 Aidan이다.ㅎㅎ
Aidan은 상당히 저돌적인 친구인데....느낌이 미국TV에 나오는 레슬러 느낌이다.ㅋㅋ
3 guys are Hong Kong, 1 guy is from Australia, Couchsurfer, Aidan.
저녁에는 홍콩 친구 Charlie를 만나서 저녁을 먹었다.ㅎㅎ
I had dinner with Charlie, my HK friend.
친구지만 우리는 처음 보는 사이다!!
2년 전에 Charlie가 아무런 연고도 없는 나를 페이스북 친구로 등록했는데....
이유는...돌아다니다가 그냥...?!
뜬금없이 알게 됐지만 자주 이야기하고 가끔 화상도 해서 상당히 친했다.ㅎㅎ
we are friends but this was 1st time to meet!
Charlie added me on Facebook 2 years ago accidentally.
but we had talked a lot, video chat as well. so quite close!
처음 본 거지만 오래된 친구를 만난 느낌?? 상당히 신선한 기분이었다.ㅎㅎ

저녁을 먹고는 홍콩에서 가장 긴 에스컬레이터를 탔다.
길어 봤자 얼마나 길겠어?? 라고 생각했는데...대박 길었다....
after dinner, we took the longest escalator in HK.
this is fucking longer than I had expected.....OMG...

홍콩의 완전 중심가로 주변에는 각종 투자은행, 기업, 명품샵 등이 모여 있다.ㅎㅎ

텐트가 설치된 지 5개월이 넘었다.
누가 봐도 상대가 안되는 게임인데 이들은 투쟁을 계속하고 있다.
It had been more than 5 months...
and impossible to get what they want...but they were struggling.
이곳에서 지내는 열흘 동안 많은 생각을 하였다.
강자와 약자, 부자와 가난한 자, 자본주의, 정의, 돈 등등.
during stay here for 10 days, I was thinking many things...
the strong & weak, the rich and & poor, Capitalism, Money, Justice, etc....
군대 그러니까 의무경찰로 지내던 시절, 시위현장을 다니면서 위와 같은 것에 대해 많이 고민했었다.
그때 생각이 난다.
When I was in army, I was military force for demonstrators so had visited many demonstrations.
that time, I was having same issues to think as above.
HSBC 빌딩은 너무나도 건재하게 우뚝 서있다.
흠, 기분이 이상하다.

Avenue of Stars를 둘러본 후, Mantas와 함께 Gold Fish Market에 왔다!!
이곳은 내가 홍콩에서 제일 좋아하는 곳으로 봉다리(?)에 들어 있는 각종 물고기들을 볼 수 있다.ㅎㅎ

Alison은 홍콩에 대해서 아는 것도 많았고 사람을 편안하고 즐겁게 하는 방법을 아는 것 같았다.ㅎㅎ

이틀 동안 Alison과 많은 대화를 나누었다.
Alison은 세계일주를 하는 것에 대해 상당히 궁금해 했는데..
같은 문화를 가지고 있는 동아시아에 사는 사람으로서 어떻게 이런 일(?)을 할 수 있는지 호기심이 많았다.ㅎㅎ
During 2 days, I had much talk with Alison.
Alison was curious about me that travel around the world.
as we are sharing eastern asia culture (workaholic),
postponing graduation of university and just traveling are not normal for us.
