나는 세상을 강한자와 약한자, 

혹은 성공이나 실패를 얻은 사람으로나누지 않는다.

내가 나누는 세상은 배우는 자와 배우지 않는 자로 구성된다.

One way will help us grow and become better people, 

the other will keep us where we are. 

어떤방법은 우리를 성장시키며 더 나은 사람으로 발전시키고

또 다른 방법은 우리를 현재에 머무르게 해요.

Being a learner, there's always something to look forward to. 

New experiences to be had. New ideas to be heard and thought of. 

Takes risks and fails, but learns from them in order to be better in the future.

배우는 사람은, 항상 앞으로 전진해나가야 할 무언가가 있습니다.

새로운 경험이 필요하고,

새로운 아이디어를 듣고 생각할 필요도 있죠.

도전하고 실패를 얻지만 그로 인해 미래에 더 많은 것을

배울수 있는 기회를 받기도 하구요.

In contrast, a non-learner, is stuck in their ways.

 Doesn't like new ideas because that might shake their beliefs and worldviews. 

Doesn't like to take risks for the fear of failure and just "sticks with what they know".

반대로

배우고자 하지 않는 사람은, 자신안에 갇혀있어요.

그들이 이제껏 지녀온 믿음과 세계관이 흔들릴수 있기에 새로운것을 싫어하는 경향이 있어요.

도전과 실패를 감안하기 싫어하고 그저 "안정적인 곳에 붙어있으려고 하죠"

 

One mindset helps the world move forward, 

while the other holds it back.

The great thing is, we get to choose our path.

No doubt, one is harder than the other. 

But that's what makes us stronger.

어떤 마음가짐은 세상을 전진시키고

또 다른 마음가짐은 후퇴시킵니다.

좋은점은, 우리가 우리의 길을 선택할 수 있어요.

당연히 전자가 후자보다 어렵고 힘들어요.

하지만 그만큼 우리를 강하게 만들어줍니다.
