복음주의 목사는 child abuse라는 혐의로 fbi쪽에 수사를 의뢰했다고 합니다... 그런데 그나마 감독이 여성이라서 이정도인 것 같습니다. 만약 남자였다면
바로 체포당했을 듯... 그리고 몇몇 분들은 너무 조숙해져 버린 패닝양의 모습이 약간 거슬린다고 했는데,
실제로 그쪽에서도 그렇게 생각하는 것 같네요...

그 영화도 보면 브룩 쉴즈의 엄마가 딸내미의 장래를 위해서 출연시켰다고 하죠. 그런데 이번 패닝양의 영화에선 nudity나 virginity auction같은게 나오지 않은 것으로

자연스러웠다고 하더군요.... 흠..director/writer deborah kampmeier is under fire while her new movie "hounddog" premiered at sundance 2007. the movie is starring young dakota fanning as the victim of a child rape. a lot of restless groups, which have not seen the movie, already called for federal probes and boycotted the movie's rating on imdb. online petitions have demanded the arrest of fanning's mother and agent, alleging that the film could be considered child pornography. however, in the rape scene, only fanning's face, neck, shoulders, hand and foot appear onscreen. much of the rape is depicted in darkness with flashes of lightning and the sound of lewellen screaming "stop it, stop it." director kampmeier told reuters that the scene onscreen is exactly how the film was shot on a closed set, with a limited crew. "it's important for people to remember that when you are crafting a film, you are putting images next to each other. it's not like we had dakota acting out the rape, we didn't," she said. "dakota and i were there together." "dakota was screaming 'stop it.' she could be screaming 'stop it' about anything," kampmeier added. "it is a southern story about a young girl going through some tough things and overcoming adversity and coming out as a better person, kind of through music and elvis presley and that movement in the early '60s," dakota said last month. fanning said she did not find the sexual content of "hounddog" upsetting. "that's what i love about acting, that i can relate to other people's situations through acting without actually going through that myself," she said. "it's like watching a story on the news, it touches me just as much as hearing about that on tv and i actually got to portray that. so people can learn about it. but no, it didn't affect me more than any other scene would." according to writer/director deborah kampmeier, "you have a child yelling 'stop it!' and only when you put that next to an image of a boy unzipping his pants do you see that it's rape." fanning has acted in more than 20 movies, alongside the likes of tom cruise, sean penn and robert de niro. she finished shooting “charlotte’s web” nearly 19 months ago and delicately said she could brag if she wanted, with parts in movies such as “hide and seek” playing alongside robert de niro, war of the worlds” with tom cruise, “man on fire” with denzel washington and “i am sam” co-starring sean penn. during a press conference in december organized to promote her latest movie based on “charlotte’s web,” one of the best-selling children’s stories of all times, originally written by e.b. white in 1952, dakota fanning amazed everyone with her mature perspectives and plans for when she grows up. "i would love to direct someday," fanning told time magazine for editions on newsstands monday. "i've learned a lot from watching directors i've worked with, like steven spielberg and gary winick, whom i worked with on charlotte's web. i would love to have that relationship with another actor." "i just love my job," she said, "i don't really know about other child actors and the mistakes that they make. i can't really think for anyone else but myself. i do movies." "i'm an actress," she says. "i'm playing someone different than myself. when they say 'cut,' it's all over." however, "i'm not always making movies," she added.
