존 레논이 아내 신시아와 약간의 언쟁을 벌인 후 생각해 낸

노래라고 하며 얼마 전(2005) 그래미 시상식에서 스티비 원더,

U2, 그린데이등 여러 뮤지션이 나와서 이 곡의 가사를 약간 바꿔

쓰나미 피해자 자선 모금을 위해 노래했으며

그 가사가 Nothing's gonna change my world부분을

something's gonna change my world로 바꿨다는데
보지는 못했지만 참 멋진 장면이었다고 한다.
