폭발적인 열광과 사랑을 보내준 팬들의 성원에 보답하고자 새롭게 단장한 5집 Returns : Part II
콘서트에서 특히 팬들의 많은 열광과 호응을 얻었던 ‘사랑하고 싶었어’, ‘태양은 가득히’, ‘Sixth Sense’, ‘붉은 노을’ 등의 곡들을 엄선해 재가창한 6곡과 함께 첫 타이틀곡 ‘가슴아 그만해’ 등을 완전히 새롭게 꾸몄다. 지난 4월 발매된 앨범의 CD 2 수록곡들이 발라드 위주의 히트곡 들이었다고 한다면, 이번 [Returns : Part II]에는 템포가 있는 신나는 곡 위주로 수록되어, 듣는 이들에게 새로운 감동을 줄 수 있을 것이라고. 이번 엠씨더맥스 5집은 말하자면 Part I 격이라 할 수 있는 지난 4월 발매 앨범과 이번 Part II 총 두 가지 버전의 앨범으로 팬들에게 다양하고 색다른 재미를 선사하고 있는 것.
엠씨더맥스는 이번 5집 [Returns : Part II] 를 발매하면서, 본격적으로 후속곡 활동에 돌입할 계획이다. 후속곡 ‘눈물’ 은 럼블피쉬의 보컬 최진이가 직접 쓴 노랫말과 이수의 담담한 듯 슬픔이 묻어나는 보이스가 돋보이는 미디엄템포 마이너 곡. 리듬은 경쾌하지만 이별을 노래하는 가사와 한번 들으면 귀에 계속 맴돌게되는 멜로디가, 강한 중독성을 더해, 지금까지 발라드 타이틀곡을 통해 선보였던 엠씨더맥스의 색깔과는 또 다른 느낌의 새로움으로 다가갈 것이라 기대된다.
