[앨범소개]
올 가을 스크린을 강타할 센세이션 조선 멜로 영화의 OST가 영화 개봉을 앞두고 먼저 공개 되었다. 그림 때문에 남자로 살았지만 사랑 앞에 여자이고 싶었던 천재화가 신윤복과 신윤복을 여자로 살고 싶게 만든 그녀의 첫사랑 강무, 제자의 재능을 사랑하고 그의 전부를 사랑하게 된 스승 김홍도, 홍도를 향한 사랑으로 질투에 사로잡힌 비운의 기녀 설화 – 이 네 남녀의 치명적 러브스토리가 2008년 영화계의 또 하나의 센세이션을 불러일으킬 것이다.
메인 테마곡이자 엔딩곡인 ‘미인도’는 국악과 팝을 접목 시킨 ‘국페라’라는 새로운 장르의 시도로 구슬픈 멜로디에 애잔한 보컬이 더해져 관객에게 정서적인 울림과 영화의 감동을 배로 끌어 올릴 것이다. 전체적인 오케스트라 분위기에 해금, 대금, 가야금 연주를 곁들인 이 곡은 '대장금'의 주제가 '오나라'를 불러 국내뿐만 아니라 세계 각국에 상당한 인지도를 확보하고 있는 서울대 국악과 출신가수 이안이 불러 관심을 불러 일으키고 있다.
‘오나라’ 이후 학업에 열중하던 이안은 미인도의 영상과 노래를 접한 후 본인이 적극적으로 임하겠다는 뜻을 밝혀 2년여 만에 국페라라는 새로운 장르로 대중 앞에 나선다. 자신만의 색깔을 만들며 완벽하게 곡을 소화해냈다는 평을 받고 있는 그녀의 구성진 목소리는 영화 전체적인 분위기와 교묘하게 조화를 이루며 감성을 자극하는 요소가 되어 영화의 감동을 한 층 더해 주고 있다.

개봉 첫 주 62만명을 동원하며 흥행돌풍을 일으키고 있는 영화 ‘미인도’(감독 전윤수/제작 이룸영화사)가 영화 외 엔딩 테마곡으로도 호응을 얻고 있다.
대다수 관객들이 영화 상영 직후 바로 좌석에서 일어나는데 반해 ‘미인도’는 전체 관람객의 3분의 2 이상의 관객들이 엔딩크레딧이 올라감과 함께 흘러나오는 엔딩 테마곡 ‘미인도’를 듣기 위해 선뜻 자리에서 일어나지 않고 있다.
롯데시네마 건대점의 김기환 매니저는 “기존 영화들과 달리 ‘미인도’는 이례적으로 크레딧이 끝날 때까지 관객들이 쉽게 자리를 뜨지 않는다”며 “때문에 다음 회차 상영을 위한 좌석 정리 시간이 다소 부족하다. 영화의 엔딩과 함께 이어지는 OST가 관객을 붙잡고 있는 것으로 보인다”고 밝혔다.

한편 ‘미인도’ 제작사인 이룸영화사 측은 "20대에서 50대까지 아우르는 폭 넓은 연령층의 선호에 힘입어 극장가 최대 비수기 11월이라는 통설을 깨고 개봉 둘째 주 100만 돌파가 유력시되고 있다"고 전했다.
