Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths

Enwrught with golden and silver light

I would spread the cloths under your feet

그 천을 그대 발 빛에 깔아드리련만

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;

I have spread my dream under your feet.

가난하여 가진 것이 꿈뿐이라

 내 꿈을 그대 발 밑에 깔았습니다.

Tread sofrly because you tread on my dreams.

사뿐히 밟으소서, 그대 밟는 것 내 꿈이오니...
