1985년 당시 미국에서 "We Are The World", USA for Africa....라는 제목으로 나왔던 앨범 입니다.

벌써 18년이란 세월이 흘렀지만 당시의 아티스트들을 보니까 감회가 새롭더군여.. 그땐 아프리카의 죽어가던 이들을 위해 "세계는 하나"라고 모두들 외쳐습니다.

그런데 가사를 보면 현재 이라크전과도 절묘하게 맞는 듯 하군요..

진정한 평화를 위해 노래를 불렀던 그때의 미국이 너무나 그립습니다...
