the korean justice system will be making jokes out of themselves if they arrest gd. 

i dont understand how they can just pinpoint the blame on a single person, when obviously there are multiple people involved in deciding what should be shown in the concert. at the same time, parents should take blame for letting their kids attend a concert in which the album being promoted is flagged 19+.

the claims are just idiotic, was the performance provocative ? yes, was the performance obscene ? no (considering the age limit the song was flagged with, the actions should deem appropriate). i mean really, there was no dry humping and she was not tied in chains she has holding onto them as clearly seen in the picture and in fancams. i mean god, i’ve seen hella more provocative performances in kpop than this, how bout all those girl groups in mini shorts/skirts in tank tops shaking their ass and chest or every time a male idol rips off his shirt, do they get bombarded with all these charges ? hell no !

the whole thing is just blown way out of proportion. if s.korea is trying to send a message (their whole, “we’re conservative” propaganda. when clearly they are not), they’re doing it entirely the wrong way. the punishment in no way fits the crime. sure, if you wanna punish the man, give him a fine, but in no way do his actions call for the need to do some time. hell no.

 머라고 하는 것은 참 바보스러운것이죠. 그 퍼포먼스가 자극적이었나요? 네. 그 퍼포먼스가 음란했나요? 아니죠. 그 노래에 관한 퍼포먼스는 적절했어요. 그리고 저는 이제까지 한국 음악 퍼포먼스를 보면서 더 자극적인 것을 많이 바왔어요.

 여자들이 미니 스커트와 핫팬츠를 입고 엉덩이를 흔들고 가슴을 흔들고. 그들은 이러한 처벌에서 벗어날 수 있다는 건가요? 결코 아니죠.

 이 모두는 너무 부풀어졌어요. 만약 한국이 자신들이 보수적이라는 걸 선전하고 싶다면 그들은 그렇게 하겠죠. 그러나 그것은 완전히 잘못된 방법이에요. 처벌은 행위에 맞지않아요. 확실히, 만약 그들이 그를 처벌하고 싶다면 그냥 벌금을 물게해야합니다.

i feel so irritated by this issue, i want to comment again. haha. its true korea has a different culture from America or whatever country we live in. They are no doubt highly sensitive and conservative when it comes to the three letter word. BUT. i think it is a bit over the top to make an “artist” for doing his profession go to jail. i’m okay with the FINE but jail? aren’t jails reserve for the “bad people”? is gd now considered “bad” for doing his passion? performers have different way in showing their creativity and I think it is the same with G dragon. HOWEVER i do agree that the promoters/management should have already known wat is ok to do and not to do. i HONESTLY believe its not entirely his fault but the management or the producers of the concert. They are the one arranging it right? why put the blame on him only?

난 이문제에 너무 짜증이납니다. 또 댓글을 달아야겠네요. 한국이 매우 다른문화를 갖고있어요. 우리가 사는 미국이나 다른 곳과는 달리.. 그들은 굉장히 민감하고 보수적이에요. 그렇지만 이것은 지나치게 오버한 감이 있어요. 그의 능력을 표현한 아티스트를 감옥에 가게 한다는 것은.. 저는 벌금엔 동의하지만 감옥? 감옥은 나쁜사람이 가는 곳 아닌가요? 그의 열정을 표현한것이 나쁜건가요? 퍼포머들은 그들의 능력을 다른방법에서 표현할수있고 지디에도 해당되죠. 그러나 이제 행사를 기획하는 사람들은 한국에서 이것을 하지 않아야한다는 것을 알아야 할것이에요. 저는 정말로 그가 잘못하지 않았다고 생각해요. 왜 모두 그를 비난하는건지?

also in a way, i just want to voice out my opinion about the author’s comment above. i know everyone has the right to speak their minds but this is supposed to be news delivered to the people. it should be objective and “unbiased”. i’m not bashing or anything. i love kpop . but as a kpop lover and you guys as well, don’t we want a fair news?
