아래 글쓴이처럼, Sims라는 게임을 단 한번도 플레이 해본 적은 없지만,

이 뮤비들을 보니 왠지 GTA 만큼의 재미가 있을거란 생각이 드네여..

故 마이클 잭슨의 에로틱한 분위기부터,

여러 영화를 패러디한 컬트적인 느낌의 PHONE..

마지막으로 놀라운 기술력으로 성장한 수잔 보일의 티저 영상까지..

그 영상만으로도 나름의 매력을 충분히 느껴볼 수 있습니다...

I’ve never played The Sims. I don’t really understand what it is. Same with World of Warcraft. I’m out of touch with these virtual worlds. Last week I was in a fish and chips restaurant and two men in their 50s were talking about Farmville. Clearly I’m missing out. I do however have a minor obsession with homemade Sims music videos on YouTube. I don’t know how it works, I don’t know how people do it, and I don’t really care, but it doesn’t take much to impress me, and I’ve wasted way too much time watching these things. Here are my favourites.

MICHAEL JACKSON
I’ve written about Michael Jackson fantasists here before. They’re arguably the best in the business. And considering Jackson never made a video for “Baby Be Mine”, this is as good as it’s gonna get. Especially all the topless hot-tub action. Tender and sexy.

LADY GAGA AND BEYONCE
Full points go to this one for ambition and execution. A nine-and-a-half-minute emulation of Jonas Åkerlund’s original. The guy who did it is 16, which makes me feel like a pensioner who doesn’t know how to use a computer. Somebody employ him.

SUSAN BOYLE
This doesn’t really count because, from what I can gather, it’s an official video made by The Sims people, and it’s not a music video anyway. But I love the happiness. I watch this and I know that everything’s going to be OK.
