This photo taken on Nov. 25, 2003 shows a couple of seldom laterally reclined and inwardly hugged skeletons buried together in a grave some 1,400 years ago in Guyuan City, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Archaeologists infer the grave can be dated back to the Northern Zhou Dynasty (557-581 A.D.), and local arid geographical conditions are attributed to the well preservation of the skeletons with arms and legs cross overlapped, an quite unusual repose in ancient Chinese double burial.
