Barclay James Harvest는 존 리스(John Lees), 레스 홀로이드
(Les Holroyd), 스튜어트 울스텐홈(Stuart Wolstenholme), 멜 프릿차드
(Mel Pritchard)로 구성되어 그들의 고향인 영국이나 미국보다는
유럽 특히, 독일과 아시아에서 높은 인기를 누렸던 밴드이다.
"Poor Man's Moody Blues"는 1977년 발표했으며 국내에서는
70년대말에 소개되어 현재까지 꾸준한인기를 얻고 있는 노래인데

'Night In White Satin'에서 영감을 얻어 만들어진 노래로
신비로우면서도 환상적인 사운드와 보컬이돋보이는 노래이다.
