 (Roberta sees Roger looking in his backpack...)

  (로버타가 책가방에서 뭘 찾는 로저를 보다...)

Roberta: What are you looking for?

            뭐 찾고 있어?

Roger: I'm fishing around for my pen.

         펜 찾고 있어.

Roberta: Ther's a pen on the kitchen table.

            부억 식탁에 펜있어.

Roger: NO, I want this pen.

         아니, 난 이 펜이 좋겠어.

Roberta: What's so special about that pen?

           그 펜은 왜 그렇게 특별한데?

Roger: It's a pen my father handed down to meIt used to be hid father's pen. his father's gaveit to him.

        아버지가 물주신 펜이거든, 그 전에는 할아버지 것이었어 할아버지께서 주신 거지.

Roberta: That sounds like a special pen.

         정말 특별한 펜이네.

Roger: It is.

         그래

Roberta: Why don't you emptyout the back-pack?

         책가방을 비워보지 그래?

Roger: Take evrything out? That's a good i-dea.

         모조리 다 꺼내라구? 그거 괜찮은 생각인데.

 *empty out: (장소나 가방 등을)깨끗이, 완전히 비우다

"I have to empty out my closets. There,s   so much junk in it."
