Rockstar's very own Grand Theft Auto IV webpage has been updated today with a sure-fire excitement generator -- a countdown clock for the debut of the company's first trailer. The timer will stop on Thursday, March 29.

The teaser's debut will mark the first time since May of 2006 that any new information about the highly-anticipated sequel makes it to the public eye. Up until now, we've just been hit with a barrage of fake screenshots, false box art, and random forum posts that claim, "My cousin works for Rockstar and this is what he told me!"

Unfortunately for sandbox fans, no other information about the forthcoming video was given (will it be in high definition? Will it include Xbox 360 and PS3 footage, etc?). We did, however, contact Rockstar representatives to see if they'd comment further.
"Nope," remarked the spokesperson we chatted with. "There's nothing else we can add to that."
