Lucky Twice is a Swedishor German teen duo from
Malmö consisting of fifteen year old Hannah Reynold and sixteen
year old Sofie Larsson.

Their only single to date, Lucky, was released on July 20th, 2006.
It went double platinum in Spain.

 

Thier video for their song lucky, sparked rumors that the duo were
a young lesbian couple following in the footsteps of tatu. The video
had a kiss that was cut out. The girls have not commented on
the lesbian rumors.

 

LUCKY TWICE is a duo of two talented teenage girls. Hannah,
15 years old and Sofie 16 years old. They both live in Malmö,
a town in the very south part of Sweden.

So how did you two meet? We met thru friends to both of us who
in their turn where good friends. And we started to hang out together
and became close friends, says Hannah.

How did you become LUCKY TWICE? -One day we decided to write
a song together, I didnt take it so serious, says Sofie, I didnt even now
that Hannah could really sing or was so interested in music, but then
I noticed continues Sofie, (who already at tender age of six, was
taking part in her first musical; Kristina från Duvemåla).

 

 One day my

brothers manager Victoria called my mother, she was looking for two
girls to sing in a duo, and then my mother told her about me and
Hannah says Sofie. We went to up to Stockholm and recorded
Lucky and we both got a management contract as well as
a recording deal! And then LUCKY TWICE was born!

 

 

이 곡은 2006년 발매 당시 스웨덴 차트 1위는 물론 더블 플래티넘을 기록하며 프랑스, 독일, 핀란드, 영국 등 유럽 전역에서 돌풍을 일으켰다.

여성듀오 애즈 원도 이탈리아가 배출한 유명 댄스그룹 라디오라마(Radiorama)의동명곡 ‘ABCD’를 리메이크했다.

이 노래는 1980~90년대 폭발적인 인기로 유로 댄스 열풍에 빠지게 한 대표곡이다.
