비욘세 [Beyonce] - Single Ladies
2008년 11월 [I am...Sasha Fierce]라는 3집 앨범으로 돌아온
Beyonce 
새 앨범의 모든 곡에 공동 작곡 및 프로듀스한 비욘세는
지난 1년 동안 앨범에만 몰두하며 60-70곡을 완성했다가
결국 10곡으로 추려내 이를 두 장의 CD에 나누어 담았다.
비욘세 자신이 붙인 ‘샤샤 피어스’라는 이름은
톱 스타로서의 비욘세다.
Single Ladies는 CD2에 수록된 곡으로 강렬한 비트와
리듬으로 좀더 공격적, 노골적, 육감적으로 어필하고 있다.
발매 이후 12월 빌보트차트에서 일등도 먹고,
롤링 스톤지가 뽑은
2008 '올해의 싱글앨범'으로 선정되기도 했다.
