"I Gotta Feeling" is a song by the Black Eyed Peas and their second official single from their fifth studio album, The E.N.D.[2] The song was first debuted on May 21, 2009.[3] The song was mixed by Dylan "3-D" Dresdow. It was mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.[4] The song was produced by David Guetta, who makes a cameo appearance in the music video (next to Kid Cudi). "I Gotta Feeling" debuted at number 2 behind the group's own "Boom Boom Pow" on the week of June 27 on both Canadian and Billboard Hot 100, making the group one of only eleven artists who have ever occupied the number 1 and 2 spots at the same time on the Billboard Hot 100.
On June 5 2009, they performed the song on Japanese TV show Music Station, and on June 9 on Late Show with David Letterman. On June 26th they performed the song in London on the TV show "Alan Carr: Chatty Man", to be broadcast on June 28th in the UK
This was the group's highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at #2. The song has so far sold 481,000 digital downloads in the United States.[9] Also staying for one more week at number-one on iTunes USA, "I Gotta Feeling" staying at number two on the 'Billboard' Hot 100, and "Boom Boom Pow" at number-one. "I Gotta Feeling" self-replaced "Boom Boom Pow" at number-one on the Canadian Hot 100 and the Australian ARIA Chart.
