'계속 공부해야 한다,' 는 진리를 몸소 보여주는듯.

처음 몇 권은 그리도 감탄이 나오던 그의

예술과 철학에 대한 지식도

재탕삼탕하니 식상하다 (실망이에요 아저씨..)

그럼에도 이번 에세이는

제목이나 패키지면에서

여행갈 때 챙겨가고 싶어지기는 한다.

A Week at the Airport

: While punctuality lies at the heart of what we typically understand by a good trip, I have often longed for my plane to be delayed - so that I might be forced to spend a bit more time at the airport.

On occasion, I have even wished for a delay so severe that I would be offered a meal voucher, or more dramatically, a night at an airline’s expense in a giant concrete Kleenex box with unopenable windows, corridors decorated with nostalgic images of propeller planes and foam pillows infused with the distant smells of kerosene.

- 공항을 너무 좋아해서 종종 비행기가 연착되기를,

그래서 공항에 갖히기를 바란 적이 있다고.

모두가 한번쯤은 해봤을 상상이지만

(영화 '터미널'이 떠오름)

정말 그런 상황이 오면 생각처럼 낭만적이지는 않을듯..
