In Washington, we got a first look at plans for a monument to General and President Dwight Eisenhower. It*’s to be built on four acres at the base of Capitol Hill and includes thirteen columns, eighty feet tall. Price tag? With public and private funding, a hundred million dollars. It’s expected to open in 2015.
