Greg was a third-year junior high school student.
One day, he bought a few pens and pencils.
He took the price tags off.
There wasn't a garbage can nearby, so he put them on the outside of his backpack.
The next day at school,a lot of Greg's classmates looked at his backpack.
They thought it was cool.
That night, Greg took the price tags off his backpack and threw them away.
Soon after that, more and more students started putting price tags on their backpacks.
Then, students in other schools did the same thing.
A few weeks later, Greg was watching TV.
Several actors were carrying bags.
There were at least 50 price tags on __(1)__ of them.
"What a strange style," Greg thought to himself."I won-der how it __(2)__."

Linda wanted to buy a birthday present for her father.
But her family was very poor.
She didn't have any money.
Linda was very sad.
She cried and cried.
Then. she had an idea.
She could make a present!
She used a piece of paper to make a card.
On the front, she drew a beautiful picture of birds and flowers.
Inside, she wrote."To the best Dad in the world. Happy Birthday."
On her father's birthday, Linda gave him the card.
he looked at the picture and the note.
Then, a tear fell down his face.
"Why are you crying?" Linda asked."You have it,right?"
"Of course not,"he said. "I love it . I'm just so happy. And I.m lucky to have a wonderful daughter like you."

Clerk: Can I helf you?
Kate: I.m looking for some pants.
Clerk: All our pants are over here. How about these?
Kate:No, those are too dark. I want something red or white.
Clerk: These are nice. Look, we have your size.
Kate: Great. Can I try them on?
Clerk: Of course. Let me show you the dressing room.

Kate: I don't have enough cash. Can I use a credit card?
Cashier: Sure.
Kate: I didn't bring my Visa. So,here's my MasterCard.
