하나님의 뜻은 이것이니...

하나님의 뜻은 이것이니 너희의 거룩함이라 곧 음란을 버리고 각각 거룩함과 존귀함으로

자기의 아내 대할줄을 알고(너희 각 사람이 거룩히 구별함과 존귀함으로 자기 그릇을

소유할줄 알되) 하나님을 모르는 이방인과 같이 색욕을 따르지 말고(살전 4:3-5)

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable,

not in passionate lust like the heathen, who does not know God.

내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩할 지어다(벧전 1:16)

for it is written: Be holy, because I am holy

나는 여호와 너희 하나님이라 내가 거룩하니 너희도 몸을 구별하여 거룩하게 하고(레 11:44)

Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.

너희는 거룩하라 이는 나 여호와 너희 하나님이 거룩함 이니라(레 19:2)

Be holy because, I, the Lord your God, am holy.

너희는 스스로 깨끗 하여 거룩할지어라 나는 너희의 하나님 여호와 이니라(레 20:7)

Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.

모든 사람과 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 따르라 이것이 없이는 아무도 주를 보지 못하리라(히 12:14)

Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness

no one will see the Lord.

그들을 진리로 거룩하게 하옵소서 아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다(요17:17)

Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.

또 그들을 위하여 내가 나를 거룩하게 하오니 이는 그들도 진리로 거룩함을 얻게

하려 함이니이다(요 17:19)

For them I Sanctify myself, that they too maybe truly sanctified.
