얼마전에 ZARA 였나? 암튼 어떤 브랜드 세일 첫날 영상에, 여자분들이 순식간에 들이닥쳐 매장을 초토화시키는 영상이 공개되었는데, 비단 여자분들의 일만은 아닌가봅니다. 영국에 가본 적이 없어서 Shoreditch가 어떤 동네인지는 모르겠지만, 영국 남자들이 축구 이외에 이렇게 흥분한 모습은 처음 보는거 같네요. 그래도 신사적인 태도로 진압하는 영국 경찰들의 모습이 인상적입니다. 우리나라 같았으면, 진작에 귓방맹이 하나 날라갔을텐데... ^^

이런 영상을 접하면서도 한 가지 부러운 것은 우리나라에도 이럴만한 브랜드가 하나 있었으면 하는 것입니다.

우리도 어서 빨리 카피 그만하구 세계적인 브랜드 하나 만들어야 할텐데...

While we’ve been quietly celebrating Easter two big things have happened. Gordon Brown’s finally chosen the date of his retirement and, far funnier, on Friday a bunch of kids rioted at an American Apparel rummage sale on London’s Brick Lane.

The police were called in to get the crowd under control and the whole thing ended up getting shut down, but not before the cops fulfilled their extremely likely dream of beating the crap out of some Shoreditch hipsters.

My friends sent me a couple videos of the scene. The audio on the top one sounds like these people are witnessing a mass murder rather than a couple guys losing their shit over some cut-price purple polka-dotted hoodies. Still, hats off to the skinny-panted ginger at 1:25 who takes an eight-cop dogpile to bring him down.
