Dear Gun Woo,
Hi, GunWoo? How are you doing? It's been already three months since I saw you
last time.. I miss you.
I wanted to be closer to you in the states, but I felt uneasy with the new environment and
new language and that probably was why I was a little unfriendly with you.
I wanted to talk with you also in English, but you have said this once that you feel
foolish when you speak in Korean, right? I felt just like that. I felt like a fool to speak in
English and it was intimidating to speak Enlish being surrounded by people who spoke
fluent English. I will practice English hard until next time I will see you so we can have more conversation. Maybe you can work on your Korean too?
You must be very busy with your job interviews? I don't think you have anything to
worry about. You will get a whatever job you want, I'm sure.
Do you remember the necklet I gave to you? That brings you luck. More happiness
than luck, I say. It reminds you to thank for every small things you get and makes you
rewarded for what you deserve. You always work hard enough to accomplish something
and that is why I gave it to you. Please treasure it for me. It meant really a lot to me.
You are graduating soon, right? Lots and lots of congratulation! You will be no more a
student but a dignified professional next time I will see you? Or you may be going to
a law school since you wanted to be an international lawyer?
Congratulation again for your graduation and let's keep in touch.
Warm regards,
****
